Episode 9 of Re:Zero Season 3 is set to premiere on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 11:30 AM JST, just about two months from the time of writing this post.
This release follows the division of Season 3 into two parts, each consisting of 8 episodes, for a total of 16 episodes. With the first part now concluded, fans will have to wait until February 5 next year for the next 8 episodes.
The ninth episode will mark the beginning of the climax for this arc, titled “Counterattack,” which promises to deliver several new twists and turns.
For those who haven’t yet caught up with the new season, all eight episodes of the first part are available on Crunchyroll. The season’s premiere is a special extended episode lasting an hour and a half. This arc takes Subaru to a new setting, Watergate City, where, coincidentally, several Archbishops have gathered to pursue the remnants of the witch. It’s up to Subaru and his friends to navigate and resolve this dire situation.
