Episode 9 was a real rollercoaster! Science SARU delivered yet another sensational adaptation, maintaining the perfect balance between action and comedy. It kicks off with Aira joining the battle, using her yokai abilities to protect Okarun. Despite her efforts, the Serpoians and the mantis-shrimp alien managed to gain the upper hand.
The turning point came when Momo arrived to assist, but the enemies forced the alien to evolve, making everything even more chaotic. Then, who shows up to shake things up? Nessie, attacking everyone mercilessly. After that, Serpo merges with Nessie and the alien, creating a hybrid monster.
Momo and the group face this new threat, but with a decisive blow from Okarun, the monster is defeated. And the ending? Well, that awkward hug between Momo and Okarun in the school hallway, wearing only their undergarments, brought some major embarrassment but also a touch of humor that wrapped up the episode beautifully.
What Made Episode 9 So Incredible?
Science SARU’s animation was simply spectacular. The action scenes were breathtaking, and the humor sprinkled throughout the battles brought a unique vibe that is quintessentially Dandadan.
